About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Ticket Aura Limited, which operates Budget Ahead. By creating an account you accept them. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and these terms add to it.
Using Budget Ahead
Budget Ahead helps you record and plan your money. You need to be at least 16 and give a valid email address. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account.
Plans
Free includes manual records, budgets, bills, goals and on-device receipt reading. Plus adds cloud backup, sync, shared households and stored receipt photos. Premium adds AI receipt reading and the AI money coach, which also need your consent. Some cloud features may be enabled for beta testing without payment; this does not grant AI access. Features may change between plans with notice.
Subscriptions and payment
Plus and Premium are auto-renewing subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID (or Google account) when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before; any unused trial time ends when you buy a subscription. You can manage or cancel at any time in your App Store (or Google Play) account settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Your data
You own the records you enter. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can provide the app to you. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Not financial advice
Summaries, forecasts and advice in Budget Ahead, including suggestions from the AI money coach, are general information calculated from what you enter. AI suggestions can be wrong. They are not regulated financial, tax or investment advice. Check important decisions with a qualified adviser.
Accuracy
Budget Ahead calculates from your entries. If entries are missing or wrong, balances and advice will be too. Budget Ahead does not connect to your bank, so it does not reflect your real bank balance unless you record it.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, try to access other people's data, or interfere with how it works.
Availability
We aim to keep Budget Ahead running and your data backed up, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own export of anything important.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions you make using the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and can bring claims in your local courts.
